Mooga dalma(for 4 person)
Ingredients:
Mooga dali 1&1/2 cup
Small piece ginger
1 potatato
2saaru(arvi)
250g kakharu(pumpkin)
150g baigana(brinjal)
200g.raw papaya
1 tomato
1tsp turmeric powder,
2 tsp salt
dalda ghee 2 tsp
cumin seeds 4 tsp
dry red chilly 4-5
1/2 cup grated coconut
Process:
Cut all vegetables into big square pieces.Just warm 2 tsp cumin seeds and 2 dry chilly.And make it powder.In a cooker add moong dal,2 cups water,turmeric powder,salt,crushed ginger,and all vegetables.one whistle in cooker enough.when whistle down, give a tadkaa to dal.In a pan add ghee Cumin seeds, dry chilly .When it start to flutter add dal to it. and cover.After 1-2 min. open lid and add coconut.finally when it become little warm then add cumin and dry chilly powder..Dalma is ready.
