My plan was again today a recipe on dal.But my sister's demand is chunchipatra pitha.I"m not agood cook like my Baba(father).But may be I inherited some of his culinary skills.

For chunchipatra pitha
We need 1 cup rice
               1/2 cup black gram
                1 coconut grated
                 1 cup sugar
                 2 cardamon crushed
                 salt and oil
                 Baking soda and muslin cloth
Process:
            Soak rice and black gram overnight.And make it a smooth batter.
Add baking soda and salt.and whip gently.
now add enough water to make it a watery batter.
In a pan fry coconut with sugar and add crushed cardamon.fry for 1 min. and more
Heat and greased tawa and dip batter with a twofold  muslin cloth and apply the batter in a cross
pattern.Put fried coconut stuffing  in the middle.And fold it into like a handkerchief.
Now the difficult part is to remove pitha from tawa carefully.For this my advice is to cook on a non-stick
tawa.
