Boota-aloo-kakharu dalma |
Ingredients:
Boota dali(chana dal)2 cup soaked
Big potato 2
250 g pumpkin
1Big tomato
1tsp cumin seeds
1tsp aniseeds(saunf)
1 small piece ginger
1 big piece cinamon
1 big size bay leaf(tej patta)
Pinch of hing
1tbsp ghee/oil
Process:
Make a paste of jeera,gingr,dalchini and saunf.Place cookr on gas.Add ghee/oil.Add tejpatta and hing and immediately add the masala paste .cook for 2-3 min add tomato.Then stir evenly.When masala cooked,then add soaked chana dal,cube size potato and pumpkin.Again stir.Then add 3-4 cup water.Then cover the lid.And wait for 3 whistle to come out with high flame.Close the gas.And wait for the whistle come down.When served add 1tsp cow ghee to it.
