Chana dal and coconut chutney

Ingredients:
1 cup chana dal
1/2 grated coconut
salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1 green chilly
pinch of turmeric powder
pinch of hing
curry patta
dry red chilly2-3
mustard seeds
1 tsp oil

Process:  First fry chana dal.Stir continuously.then soak chana dal for 1/2 an hour.Grind chana dal,grated coconut, green chilly salt and sugar.In a frying pan add oil.Add dry red chilly and mustard seeds and  turmeric powder.when it started to splutter add curry patta and hing.And immediately add the grinding paste to the tadka.Stir gently.When a nice smell come close the gas. when it become cool and if you love little sour tastethe add 1-2 tbsp curd to it.Your chutney is ready to serve with Dosa....
